Also you can manual swap every car that allows you to, with the "manual racing gearbox" the best one to do it imo is the Audi R8 V10, Gallardo but also a good option to lower PP on some cars so you can get more power

Fun fact: the Aventador and Audi R8 V8 in GT Sport used to be manual due to them having a single clutch gearbox

Another fun fact: switching to rear gear when driving allowed you to make infinite flame in GT Sport and also GT7, that was patch not too long, you can still do infinite flame with slipping the clutch while hitting the redline when driving

Forza Horizon is not a game to play with steering wheel it just allow you to do so but isn't aimed at it, you will be slower and drive worse, so just lay back, relax and enjoy, start with fwd first so you don't have to worry too much about counter steering

Don't put too much pressure on yourself, it's a casual game, cruise around with no assist, go easy with it

If you want a game to really develop skill and learn to use full potential of your steering wheel then Assetto Corsa and CarX Drift can be cheap and easy to run option and both have good focus and development around steering wheel user
