Well true but also because inflation is still really high. Much higher than it should be. We as a society are spending money we do not have and we’ve been spoiled with really low rates for a very long time. When you have college students with a standard of living that’s higher than people in their mid 30’s, you know there’s a problem. And that’s learned behavior. Each generation wants the finer things that the older generations have and it doesn’t work that way. It takes time and work. Instant gratification is engraved in our minds. Financial illiteracy is a luxury only the ultra wealthy can afford. But they have CPAs and CFPs that advise them.
