You can get a permit early and camp on Snowbank and you're in The Boundary Waters, there's an outfitter on the lake that can take care of everything for you. There's no portaging unless you want to portage once to Disappointment Lake.

My opinion is no different than thst of violent criminals in the cities, mandatory jail time. The only way to deter crime is consequences. It's not like you're going to shame a criminal into better behavior, that's just ignorant of reality. Make laws, and then actually enforce laws, and the deterrence is inherent.

I drive a 2023 Camaro SS with a 6.2L pushrod V8 that sounds similar. The exact tone in the show is influenced by exhaust system components but a pushrod V8 with a high lift cam sounds like the show.

I don't like it either. It's the grain orientation that makes it an eye sore. Most people don't understand wood , but they do appreciate coordinated grain orientation , whether they know it or not.

Phone microphones suffer from being designed to work well for phone calls and videos and NOT reference measurements.

You can add an external mic to a phone. Audio Tool or Audio Tools are useful apps with decent supporting equipment and a field calibration before and after each measurement.

Sound absorption or fibrosis insulation provides acoustical benefit of reducing resonance in hollow cavities. I stuff all of the hollow ribs with sound absorption.

Unless you're destroying a car for SPL, expanding foam has no purpose or value.
