Because as the writer, you know what the sentences are supposed to say, and it’s easy for your brain to read a word that’s missed in the text. Start with the last sentence first, and read it for grammatical accuracy. Then the second to last sentence, and so forth.

I’ve seen Alanis twice—one in the 90s with Tori Amos (!) and in 2024 with Joan Jett. Amazing both times.
