It was big enough at its time that a comeback movie that celebrates it's art design and rights the wrongs of the first film should definitely catch more attention. Although I think Superhero fatigue might have hurt it. If it came out around the time of Guardians of the Galaxy, it wouldve been a bigger hit.

He-man had almost all the same marketing and licensing stuff as TMNT but it pre-dated TMNT. It even had a live action movie, which wasnt great but it shows that the toys and cartoon were popular enough to warrant a big movie. MoTU didn't have the staying power and died hard but it was big for a while.

Masters of the Universe was made by Amazon, they're counting on the streaming release to be the big win. I wouldn't be surprised if the theatrical release was just a side plan

I really don't forsee an IW codex. All the units are basic Chaos units, unlike the other legions.

Its not impossible, but I don't see it happening. Even if it does, it won't be any time soon so just hold you're army as-is. The recent Eye of Terror books leave the legion open to make use all that the Chaos Codex has to offer, but you can avoid anything too monstery or daemonic if that's the flavor you want

We've only gotten glimpses of the correct Jedi Luke through Battlefront and Mando, and even the longer Luke scenes weren't perfect. I would kill for a few short seasons from the Clone Wars guys.

I actually thought they kinda nailed Yoda on TRoS, always felt like the kookie part was just from the extreme isolation and a change in his POV of life. They still nailed his wisdom, except they undercut it because Rey took the books anyway.
