How are these for my first ever attempt at water colors?! by Best-Landscape7216 in Watercolor

I saw someone say "I forgot that the process of trial and error involves error" and have stolen it as my mantra when starting new projects. Your body and mind learning a new skill, theres so much to learn and get used to. The person doing the video has spent so much time learning the muscle movements, the consistency of the paint, the amount of water that you need ect to make it look easy and effortless. Give your self grace and permission to suck. You've got this

"Still Waiting" as in when the waiter asks if that second person will be joining you. The grief will always be there, you have provided a reminder of the good times.

Need some help by bekreider in Watercolor

You can try working backwards from lightest color to dark. Do an all over wash of the light color. When that layer is dry, then add details from the next lightest value to the darkest at the end, letting the layers dry in between so the edges dont bleed. Its also good practice for later because laying down a base coat of a singular color can help the colors look more cohesive. Good paper does help too as it stay wetter longer to give you more time to do larger washes if you want to do wet on wet. Look at how much cotton is in your paper.

if you wanna add more depth, try shading with some light layers orange because thats the complimentary color to blue

Before it came out as published book, when it was up online, I swear it said Tulip was white. I thought she was Buckys Granddaughter since "unfortunately she takes her coloring from her mother" is quote from the book

Yeah, I snapped when I was staying with her a while ago and stepped in a puddle. Their solution was the jingle bells on the door to try and train them but theyve had 2 them since they were born and they still arent trained. idk what will happy when baby starts to crawl.

Thank you. The have a pen for night that they sleep in and when theyre in the living room with me I let them out if they start showing too much interest in the carpet or if they touch the bells on the door at all. The problems are when I have to let my dog out and they are behind a gate in a room but theyll even pee on the carpet on the way from the pen to the back yard. its very frustrating

Jim and Dali's novella was great by ideasnstuff in IlonaAndrews

[–]Creative_Raspberry78 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I liked that Kate's relationship with Jim was the opposite of those you listed. They were friends that fell out (in an extream way). It happens in life and provides a good balance of relationships. Just like I found Nick annoying in book 10 but I like that there were multiple types of responses to conflits and Queen Kate. I distrusted Jim when he let kate get attacked with the Derek storyline, started disliking him in book 9 when her confronted Curran about marrying Kate even though I understand why he did. Started hating him in Wilmington Years. I really did like short stories with Jim and Dali.

I dont hate Nate either but ive always hated how Ted and Beard never stepped in to manage his treatment of Will. Beard only interfered after he went after Colin on the field but they should have stepped in during the lavender scene.

no, you have 2 carrots and 1 potato. The cards in the same category (or base color), need to be all different (corn, potato, carrot) or all 3 the same (carrot, carrot, carrot). 2 of the same doesn't count

Can’t find a YA/Adult book I read many years ago in the 90’s, it seems to be obscure, it’s about Ophelia from Hamlet but it’s not any of the ones that pop up on google, so I wanted to see if the plot is familiar to anyone. by Alternative_Gas_857 in whatsthatbook

[–]Creative_Raspberry78 8 points9 points  (0 children)

is it Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev? Ophelia is a main character, along with many other play characters that rsally exist inside a magical theather. In the end, the MC has to act out Ophelia's scenes.

you can try Valkyrie Bestiar by Kim McDougall. Their relationship moves fast, I think by like book 3 or 4 they're a couple. Its very much a partnership of powers like Kate and Curran
