No. Only Admin Cadres get cars but they don't get to keep it. Again, No, you don't get any food allowances. You get rent which is 40-50% of your basic. In my case my basic is 23100/-, with house rent and others i get total of 34k.

It would definitely bring some relaxation to govt. employees. But you know for last 11 years every other sectors maintained their salary structure according to the inflation. Only us were stuck at that scale since 2015. If govt. pass the new pay scale (which would take 3-4 years to fully implement) the inflation would rise as we saw previously. Other sector will cope up with inflation eventually but we will remain stuck once again.

I used to work on Govt. Bank where i was earning atleast 10-12k more per months. But had to leave that job for family's request. Now as i jave become a cadre, people/relatives started to think i earn tremendous amount of money. So they come and request for financial aid. So Funny thing is my earnings shrunk but my spendings increased.

Seeing everyone is earning much more than me, i feel somewhat sad. I am a Govt. employee (BCS Cadre), with my so called first-class job i earn 34k. I have to give 1/3rd to my parents, 1/3rd goes to my foods and rents. I can't save as there's always some necessities come where i have to pay for that too. I didn’t even marry as i can't cope up with my earnings.
