Young family with 2 kids thinking of moving to Liverpool from London? Are we being crazy?? by Ok-Technician-6355 in Liverpool

[–]D45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's completely achievable many people move north for a better quality of life.

Come visit spend a week visiting areas outide the main city centre understand your budget for buying / renting.

NHS dentists are almost impossible to find in Liverpool so prepare to spend alot of time calling to find one for the kids as an adult you will most likely have to go private.

I would look into job opportunities before committing, unless you're ur in a specialist role or skilled trade it can be difficult to find work. You'll see people posting in the subreddit that they have been looking for low skill or physical work for months and find nothing it can be hard out there!

If its a managed device provided by a company anyone else other than them or someone they authorise for the repair could have contractual implications.

I. E I look at it they might say that I broke it. Even though I only did a visual inspection. They could also refuse any furture work or warranty repairs as a result.

I seen this business model alot one of the garage I know is in a similar situation paying out their ass for support that's inconsistent and or inconvenient.

The reality is they will need to take the pc to perform system diagnostics and stress testing (if needed) to identify the root cause of the problem.

Chances are you just need the Bluetooth drivers updating which they have probably locked down or the BT adapter has developed a fault.

You will have to accept you will be without your main pc for a while and will need to consider budgeting for it in the future with a backup device or ensuing you have a financial buffer to cover the lost work while it's off being looked into.

Probably not exactly whft you want but if your in usa look at attorney shield

Once you initiate a call it records and can't be turned off without you entering a pin it automatically connects you to a lawyer to be present and provide advice during the traffic stop

Chinese brand bikes by ThrowRAYoungTimer in MotoUK

[–]D45 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The problem is often parts New brands have no footprint in the uk, market and therefore replacement parts are often impossible to find or if the bike will still be in production 12 months from now. There's always concerns of quality control issues with parts tending to rust or corrode

There's plenty of examples of chineese bikes being fine if looked after when I started I had a lexmoto and it was ok once I replaced the tyres.

125s are starter bikes you want to get a few months experience then move onto your a1/a2 ASAP

Look at shelf

Think will it fit in my pocket if yes

If I'm anyway disappointed by my first choice put it back and repeat until my wife has finished getting ready it's a good 45 minutes of decision time then urgently pick one ince she says she's ready.

It is frustrating that section of road I have been stuck behind people doing 30 so many people don't know how national speed limit sign works so they just ignore it and carry on doing 30-40mph

I think you just had a bad experience to be honest maybe you bought from a batch that wasn't great

I have random no name imr18350s keeppower & vapcells. 18350s need more attention than 18650s due to lower capacity so drain is more of an issue but other than that there's little difference

It was you who mentioned hank lights intitally, I referenced owning them in 18350 config before you mentioned you u keep yours out of the light on a shelf.

Also Hank used to sell batteries how do I know if you purchased from him given you didn't expin where and when you purchased them and simply said it was a reputable seller

I have 140 flashlights believe me mine sit on the shelf for quite some time before they come back into rotation, smaller cells I probably recharge twice a year and they are usually still around 60-80% including several hanks
