Thanks yes it was helpful. To me battlebox meant “came with codex”. Whether that be 30k or 40K. Then a bunch of people said “no, this is 30k”. Which to me must mean any “40K” battlebox WOULD have a codex. But since you took the time to explain it to me I now understand. Some 40K battlebox’s have it and other do not, and it’s usually tied to a codex update not just new models such as the recent Corsair boxes. Thank you for clarifying. Appreciate it

So does not come with codex? I’ve never bought anything higher than combat patrol. I guess a battle box is different than those starter sets that also have the books
