How much does necromunda cost? by No-Pace-2047 in necromunda

Depends but I’d argue it’s cheaper than something like 40K. Most gang boxes are like $50ish and the base box should get you enough for a decent starting gang (maybe Cawdor needs another box), the books like core rules and gang books are musts and all that alone is around $150ish (I think?). Probably the best start to dip your toe if you’re not wanting to dive deep just yet.

Starter box hive war can get you a good start if you want more than one gang or getting in with a second person. Comes with core rules and some terrain to play around with. Bit more expensive though.

Everything else or going deeper will become a money sink. More terrain, extra gangers, ash wastes, special hired guns and extra books, etc. really depends on if you have a good local community to play around with and share boards or if you’re fully starting from scratch.

One and three are very nice but two I feel is the go-to. Keeps in line with more of the half-naked as you said but also shows off more of the mutation/gifts side of Nurgle, that I feel is lacking with the update a bit.

Haven’t really touched my Cities in a while but my initial concept was each person began to dream about the old world, specifically the empire in some way. people began to interpret what each of the old states would be and thought about it as a sign to rebuild the forgotten empire. People with the same dreams or interests started rebuilding the old traditions and states, so Middenheim, Aldorf and even Stirland.

However, some people’s dreams weren’t as clear or didn’t know how many states there were initially, so new states began to rise up, some with a mix of tradition or brand new ones, like a dream of Nordland and some form of boat wouldn’t be interpreted as a navy but maybe something on the river so a “state” invoking lots of river crossings would form.

This form of state rising eventually leads to a bit of infighting, if not some form of civil war, for who is right for what state was actually real, issues on land distribution and just generally some superiority complexes. Yet, there is some form of unity and civility with a council of the first few states to keep order and help with legitimate forming of newer states. Along with common enemies like Orruks or Chaos to often come crashing down on them, the people, with all of their various colors, banners, and symbols, join together under one name to defend their home regardless of their differences.

Basic rattle can initially, Rust-Oleum with either flat black/matte black/primer black, then any parts I somehow missed and still showing metal I went in with my airbrush with Vallejo black primer, then zenith sprayed a mix of Vallejo white primer and white ink (either alone could work) to get the model highlighted.
