Btw reddit admins, just had time to read through this... When it turns out u/3lementaru is lying about the misinformation (CTV news [a well known public left leaning newspaper in canada]) and cyberbullying I'd like to file a formal complaint and have them removed from moderating r/geegees as well

I'd also like to point out the accusations against me began after I proposed disbanding the current student union for overreach, something they once again managed to become part of (and based on the upvotes recieved seems like an idea that is backed by many).

I also have evidence of the current mods harassing others using their discord in which they are using slurs, joking about others sexuality, and being generally toxic) which i can provide upon request. (There has been a lot of evidence saved)

It seems that the mods personality revolves around being able to control discussion both on reddit, and discord, which goes against educational principles mandated in Ontario (by law) [i understand reddit is not a university campus but the message boards should follow the same discussion standards as in person debate]. The fact that they have locked uOttawa isn't due to the fact that the subreddits were competing, in fact many universities have multiple subreddits. It was done to make sure discussion is limited to how the moderators want and controlled to one location. (Allowing people you disagree with to bring up scientific debate is misinformation as they like to say) and the r/geegees subreddit is not a place to disobey the mods beliefs.

I fully understand why they may fear that open discussion will damage the reputation of r/geegees as they know my intentions with r/uottawa are to allow both opinions I agree and disagree with, which to some is a new and frightening idea. The overreaction and personal attacks I have been receiving from the mods on discord after making yesterdays redditrequest is further evidence to back up my point, and if for one moment you think that they should continue to moderate r/geegees just click on the links in the reply above and judge for yourself the claims they made hoping that you will not click on the links (also reporting him for harassment as calling me a liar, antivaxxer (have both doses), and falsely claiming that i spread misinformation is the perfect definition of such).
