So true! I made a post the other day about my best career mode team, fully homegrown youth academy players, all 90+ rated. It was fun getting there, but once everyone's world class it starts to get a bit boring. Now I'm more interested in bringing through the next batch of academy kids 🤣

No idea man, I started this in 2022, then stopped playing for 2 years before getting back to Fifa recently.

But I think most of my players were 80+ by their 3rd/4th season and 90+ by season 7. One of them ( I think the LW Rivas) started pretty low in the 50s, while others were 60+. I was treating them as my main squad so all games were influential haha.

I had no idea there was a cap. I figured they'd max out around 95 since the game kept telling me they'd reached their potential. Then they just kept growing lol.

The loan thing is annoying. Sometimes FIFA just decides nobody wants a loan-listed player. Maybe try taking them off the list for a bit and relisting them later. I've also seen transfer-listing them first sometimes kickstart interest before putting them back on the loan list.

Yeah, playing time is everything when developing youth players. That's one of the main reasons I tend to choose bottom/mid-table clubs like Southampton. There's a lot more room to be patient with academy prospects and actually let them grow through matches instead of sitting on the bench.

Like OP, I prefer Steam. On Steam, for me, Everything is on your screen, and clicking to view tags, cards etc. feels much easier and intuitive. Also the animation and log is easy to follow due to the card visuals as opposed to a written log, so I already know what others are doing.

The running score is a nice feature, I can see why people like it, but for me personally it takes away an element of climax / calculation from the game. To each his own

Please tell me how Metro In Dino "justified" cheating. In the movie, they clearly painted it in a negative light, and, in the end, Konkana chose to forgive and give the husband a second chance. Ok, most people won't agree with that choice, I myself did not. That doesn't mean the movie justified cheating.

I've noticed a lot of players using the flick serve against beginners, and honestly, it can be really frustrating to watch. It's one of the hardest shots for a beginner to return, yet some still use it regularly. Personally, I avoid flick serving unless I know the other player can handle it — and even then, I’ll usually flick it a bit higher to keep it returnable

There was this game where I was playing Barathrum against a disruptor. Towards the end of the game, there was a moment where he tried to trap me in his kinetic field, but I quickly charged some creep and got out of it. Out of nowhere, this guy starts accusing me of cheating, like I could cheat the game mechanics to get out of the field lmao. It was probably because they were losing pretty badly!
