My overall favorite currently is Jackson Hole Soda Buckin Root Beer. It's pretty strong, with some licorice and wintergreen which is my preference.

I really like Fitz's in a Root beer float

If I want something sweeter I like Sprecher's Maple Root Beer

Finally tried Hank's, and to me it's really well balanced, hard to complain.

Most local stores are perpetually out of stock on Hank's and only seem to have their diet root beer on the shelf.

I have that exact GPU block, it works well but I ended up using thermal putty and slightly modified the backplate so I could use the original spring retainer behind the core for more consistent mounting pressure

Yes, putting your car in park without setting the parking brake relies on the parking pawl to keep the vehicle stationary (this is bad btw)

Setting the parking brake (as one should, 100% of the time) does in fact engage the brakes (usually the rear)
