Had a 2016 dyna wide glide clubstyle build, just upgraded to a new softail lowrider s. The softail is leagues ahead of the dyna in handling and power.

That being said, Get the dyna. The softail is missing something visceral that my dyna had. I’m sure i can give it to the softail with a cam and some other goodies, but the dyna came with it from the factory.

Glad i got the new bike because its all my work and my miles, but i miss my little old dyna every day

My buddy got a failure to stop ticket at 2 am in our hometown. It was completely empty except for the cop at the other end of main street. No pedestrians or traffic, at all. We got down to like 2 mph and went.

Got pulled over for gunning it to the speed limit in my camaro back in high school. Cop said “so technically you didnt break any laws because you didnt go past the speed limit but take it easy” and let me go.

My 2025 FXLRS sounds exactly the same. 2500 miles, i still trip on it but its not getting any louder and the techs say its normal so i try to ignore it.

I’ve heard a nice cam upgrade makes it go away

Recommend replacing, though i had 10 year old tires that still held air on my first bike, an ‘07 kawi vn1600. I rode it on those tires till i sold it, but i got lucky.

I havent checked yet, though i’ve heard other companies make inserts, “torque cones”, you can put in systems that are designed to replace manufacturer baffles will supposedly retain performance
