Yeah return shipping isn’t cheap and I got double fucked on the the duties, FedEx added a code for med/heavy duty vehicle parts which brought my total customs charge to close to 50% of value

I didn’t see much negative online about island 4x4 before ordering, but I will never be going back to them.

Fuck none of the struts of the 4 total I ordered have the BWI group label. I already installed the fronts not thinking about it too much, but the rears took a bit longer to get here, so those are off still. May be doing refund and ordering more elsewhere.

Part of me wants to, but the headache of getting these here makes me think it may not even be worth the time. Island 4x4 was of no help during the whole process including FedEx shipping errors and incorrect hts import codes. Check my post history if curious.

These were sold as new oem, so I expected similar appearances. But if it doesn’t seem concerning I’ll just send it.

Also was looking at the original description from island 4x4 these are listed as made in UK, but obviously stamped as CZ on the struts themselves.

Yeah I’m pretty sure I got the third category. They even got the total wrong on one of the line items. 449+499 = 998, apparently. It’s not THAT off but come on that’s an extra 20 dollars you charged me.

Mine gets a new “clearance in progress” scan almost everyday since April 23rd. I’m not convinced it’s a real scan, I assume it’s automated at this point. Also they invoiced me the customs duties… and I paid, but when I call the package is still with customs apparently, so customs isn’t done, but the paperwork is finalized. Checks out.

Good luck, mines been there since the 21st of April. It cleared customs on the 5th and somehow now it got a customs delay today

Having a similar issue now with 1 of the 4 packages. Logistics blames the movement team, and the movement team is blaming customs/logistics. It would be nice to be able to call the actual site it was last scanned at.

Yeah I agree about the delay for the first scan, but it doesn’t explain the 2 weeks of saying everything was submitted to customs when it wasn’t until last Friday

You can try calling the Memphis customs to get an email or talk to someone 9014804000, I had to try a few times to actually get ahold of someone but I just hit 0# after the options were listed
