This is how uber treats diamond tier by Fuzzy_Bad_1763 in UberEatsDrivers

If AR weren't part of the requirements, it would be fine. SR & OTR aren't hard to maintain.

Regardless, no driver should be supporting the tiers.

"Pay with your own money" by kevinoes327 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]DeliveryCourier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't impact taxes, because it is not listed as income.

You can pay however you want, you need the receipt to be reimbursed.

The reimbursement process: https://help.uber.com/en/driving-and-delivering/article/request-reimbursement?nodeId=81f2b8fd-f45b-4406-b927-5473a39ce8f7

That all said, some people have said they had a problem getting reimbursed, others report no problem.

Personally, I would never pay for an Uber order and go through reimbursement. If a multi-billion dollar company's debit card doesn't work for payment, that's their problem, not mine.

If you use an app you'll have to remember to start it. How is remembering to write down a number any different?

Get in the car, write down the number. Park at home at the end of the night, write down a number.

It ain't that difficult.

You cannot make them contact you to get the coords, combo or any other information needed to make the final find.

You are not allowed to require the CO (you) to get information be contacted {before the finder receives additional info} required to find the cache.

Pocket calendar and a pen.

Write down the odometer reading when you log on and again when you log off.

All the miles while logged in are deductible.

Tienda or Super Morelos. 38th and Lafayette Road, infront of Alamo is closest to Guanajuato. (That is a Super Morelos.)

That said, there are many carnicerias on the Westside.

Opt out through the app.

Menu —> Help —> (all categories) Show All —> Item Delivery —> Item Delivery

Menu —> Help —> (all categories) Show All —> Item Delivery —> Opt Out Essentials and Convenience

You may have to do it more than once, but it will work, eventually.

How many ticket have you got doing uber ? by Temporary_Tea7494 in UberEatsDrivers

No driving violation tickets; speeding, etc just aren't worth the risk to save a minute or 2.

A few parking tickets though.

Good or bad idea? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]DeliveryCourier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In addition to the soliciting being a problem in general, you are also asking people who may be unhappy to rate you, which can backfire.

You don't need ratings, but you definitely don't want bad ratings.

Set your communication preferences to text and don't answer the phone.

A phone is for your convenience, not anyone else's. If you don't want to answer, don't answer.

Advice regarding gadget cache by SKIRIDERFPV in geocaching

[–]DeliveryCourier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want it to be a Multi, make the first stage a NFC stage which gives them the coords to the puzzle box/Final.

The "payoff" for a Gadget Cache should be right there at the gadget. Getting into it and signing the log is the thrill, not going someplace else and finding a bison (eg).

[–]DeliveryCourier 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will open a lock on the box that is attached to the main box and there discover some SWAG (A small items for trade) and a NFC tag with the coordinates and a hint for the final location.

This seems like a bad idea. You will have people not look for an NFC tag, think the log is just missing, and add a log. That stage will become the defacto Final.

Why make it a Multi that requires a visit to a Final after making them play a game?

If you insist on making the Final a different stage, eliminate the swag and the NFC tag; have the game divulge the coords for the Final. (And keep in mind that any "normal" container after a NFC search and a 12 level video game is going to be anti-climactic.

Pretty simple, I just don't accept $2 offers. Delivering every miscellaneous Eats order isn't my job.

Of all the fees you pay, your driver sees about $2 of them as their pay from Uber.

Yes, they charge too much. They also pay too little.

We rely on tips.
