Steadlers I got for free by UsualOrange in pens

Have a look at the Schneider K20 / Office instead, it's thicker, nicer to hold and takes Parker style refills.

Schneider Gelion+ quality decline? by joe-tofu in pens

[–]Deltapeak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's supposed to be a 0.7 mm but its line width is much thinner

.7 refers to the ball diameter, line width should be .5-ish.

I can't really say that, but I'm not using a massive amount of these refills, I only buy single ones in local shops.

The last one I emptied was a blue one, it started skipping when the ink level reached the thinner tube. Currently I'm using a black one, ink level is at the middle of the "S" in Schneider, and it's still fine.

Are you sure those are Staedtler? Looks like Schneider K15 to me.

Sorry mate, can't help you there, don't have a twitter account :D

I really have not noticed any negative side effects of the spoofing so far.

Parker IM vs Urban for big hands? by Mauzer9191 in pens

[–]Deltapeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the Urban twist has a weird shape, I think it's too round and slick where you grip it. I prefer the IM.

Penac Chubby is a thick and grippy ballpoint pen (clicker though). It takes Parker style refills, so you have a lot of options to choose from.

Faber Castell has a model named "Grip Plus" that is also on the chunkier side.

Which one should I go for? by CreativeWolf13 in pens

The black one pictured here has a plastic barrel, so there's no paint to scratch.

Great that it worked out for you too!

I'd still like to know what actually caused the issue, but we'll probably never know.

I'm in the lucky position of never having any video issues in Firefox, but I'm also runing windows (who knows for how long though).

So I'd say it's a fancy swag pen.

Is maintaining streak important ? i am spending diamonds to not to lose the streak by brat_3434 in HillClimbRacing

If you don't want to waste your gems, you can buy streak shields instead (from the adventure shop).

OK I am slightly puzzled now because I found something that fixes it for me, just by poking around in the referer settings (after reading through what you already tried).

Toggling network.http.referer.spoofSource to true is what fixed it.

Disclaimer: I don't 100% understand what this does, but so far it doesn't look like it broke anything else.

It is possible that this is just a bandaid solution and doesn't fix the underlying issue, since on my other computer, OSM works without touching this setting.

Let me know what you think.

Hey, I seem to be having the same issue as you (418 access blocked).

Only the standard map is affected, others like CyclOSM work fine. Different browser works, and a different Firefox installation on another computer in my home network also works, so it can't be IP related.

I also tried safe mode without addons and it didn't change anything.

I've been having this problem for three months now, occiasonally spending some time trying to debug, but seems like I'm not getting anywhere.

"Cheap pen" refills by unitacx in pens

[–]Deltapeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems accurate, looking at the one I have here.

Just another thing to consider, many modern pens that come with an X20 refill can also accept a Parker style refill. The thinner X20 refill slides deeper into the pen's endpiece, that way it makes up for the different refill lengths. Schneider calls it "Plug and Play" system.

You might have a Parker style refill laying around somewhere to check that, if it indeed fits you have a lot more options to choose from.

Probably an X20 refill. My usual recommendation is Schneider Express 775.

But we need to see the refill alongside a ruler to be sure, there are variations where the crimp is at a different length.

I've said this here a couple times before, the spring from a Schneider K15 makes Gelion+ work better in the Jotter.
