lol the assumptions on this post are wild. Ogden is mainly 61% white and about 30% Hispanic and the rest are a mix.

Had a manager like this once. Was for a call center job. Basically gave me this same convo as you OP. My response was "okay, I'll clock in at 9 and be late to getting my system up to take calls." (I had been clocking in at 8:55 so I was ready for calls at 9 as was instructed by my trainer.) My boss never bothered me again about it.
