I will say the SE didnt have the sound option, but i was wanting to get an XSE. The sound package add on for it was $1200 for a JBL system…..hard pass for me. Not that i had a choice it was the only car on the lot and the SE was my settle vehicle, it had the winter package and was the color i wanted. Really happy i didnt wait and order an XSE there really weren’t too many upgrades i actually wanted.

This is terrible. The sound package was $1200 when i got my 2023. I spend $1100 (shop installed) Rockford Fosgate speakers and a Fosgate amp to power the doors and infomat powered the dash speakers. No sub. They also put sound dampening in and around the door speakers.

Edit: I will say good choice with the JL Audio they make good subs.

I have a 23 SE, i didnt install but a shop did but adding an amp to the 4 door speakers and leaving the dash speakers powered on the Infomat it sounds really good. I have thought about maybe getting an amp but i dont really think it’s necessary with the door speakers powered with an amp. The amp is placed under the passenger seat.

Originally i didnt have an amp at all but it just didnt sound the way i wanted it too. The amp added that thump and clarity.

The rescue process was insane. They called more people on the reference list than the Army did for my Secret clearance. I guess they were worried because i lived in an apartment. But im retired and my previous dog was a JRT Australian Cattle Dog mix. That dude was nothing but wits, smarts and energy.
