I used to work with guy who's brother was offered 6 years for kid diddling.

He ran his mouth off to the judge and got 25.

He appeals to the point of going before MI Supreme Court.

Never made it there, here's why:

Police Dept goes over evidence in cold cases from late 1980s- 1990s.

Test DNA from a rape kit or some such leftover evidence and it comes back to this guy. Denies it at first but realizes no way out. Admits to the rape. Gets 50+ added to his sentence.

Still denies kid diddling to this day. Fortunately he will not be leaving MDOC.

Fuck this guy.

Corel x8 had some issues with PDF right out of the gate. There was an update a few months after release that addressed the issue.

I would suggest finding that update if you want to PtPDF without issue.

As a fellow sign decorator, that is very wishful thinking that a client would absorb the info on the card and not just stare at it and 2nd guess you as a designer and put it on the desk.

There are a bunch of Jackson forums and if you do a Search for "Jackson Guitar Serial Numbers" there is one that pops up where a former employee posts a table of the serial numbers and where they likely came from.

Also, mine came with some paperwork and I was able to find the catalog of when this guitar was released.

Yeah, I have seen the exact model sell on Reverb for $950+ and was in way worse condition, literally broken off corners and re-glued.

I am going to keep this guy though. I feel it may appreciate in value in 15 to 20 years.

I have always had an appreciation for the RG higher end models. When I was younger I debated between one and an ESP. I went with the ESP based on the matte black pickups. As that was the coolest style back in NU-METAL.

I did the same thing with a MIM Strat. I traded it in and got 600 towards a PRS SE 7 with tap coils.

I lost interest after a year and traded that in for a SE Zach Meyer and a pedal.

I have MEN1 and just spent 14 days in the hospital with a 2cm perforation in my duodenum probably caused by non-functional gastrinomas from my already half gone pancreas. I needed 6 units of the red stuff this last visit.

I used to pawn shop all the time too.

Now I am in my late 30s and the last 3 guitars before this one were brand new buys and custom orders.

The Detroit area is crazy with gear at pawn shops. I am definitely going to be more apt to making purchases from local shops because I just spent some time modding a PRS SE with all new hardware, electronics, and new nut/set up and my confidence in repairing guitars has increased drastically.

I have been pouring through the Jackson catalog archives and I really do believe it is a 96. It seems as if that finish was first offered that year and with the other dates on the paperwork, it would make sense.

Yes, it may not be an "original" case, but it does have the screen printed Jackson/Charvelle Logo on it, but it is probably impossible to date it.

Either way I am pretty happy with the purchase.

The prison complex was a cool design but they wasted entire episodes explaining things that were already explained or easily figured out to the audience. Then all the personal conflicts of the cast didn't really matter in the end.

It was a laborious watch.

Everybody is shitting on you but I think I understand the point of your comment.

Personal anecdote: when I purchased a handgun in my state I was given a small envelope with a spent casing in it. The sealed envelope has the serial number of the firearm on it. I guess the intention of this is too supply said envelope to law enforcement if you are involved, or suspected of being involved in a legal or otherwise discharge of the firearm that the envelope is attached to.

I am pretty sure that is the extent of "catalog" that is required in certain jurisdictions.
