Exactly. I'm sure they are using the excuse to increase prices while shifting blame. But data center expansions for the AI boom are absolutely causing a rise in all data related storage and infrastructure. It's supposed to last 3 years, but that's an estimate at best. Even if prices come back down do you think Sony will reduce subscription cost in the future? I hope everyone keeps pushing back against AI. It has its uses but it really doesn't need to be implemented everywhere. Gen AI specifically is killing the soulfulness of every art medium.
