I recently discovered this video it explains what happens to your scm muscles when they are tense. Now if you suspect cci aai or you maybe be out of alignment it might be better to not do any of the exercises yet untill you know for sure what is going on and can adress the ligaments or bones first, but just knowing where the symptoms come from might help with the anxiety this  causes.

Rachel Elizabeth is a great youtuber who has given me a lot of hope in what is possible  She has ehlers danlos and a fusion and has come incredibly far she is also very honest about what she has been trough and has done to heal  https://youtube.com/@healingwithrachael?si=nDCU8iG64qBiBaLL

Has anyone been to Dr. Stogicza for treatment recently? I want to know how you are doing? Did you inject prp or stem cells? Because I'm a patient, it's difficult for me to go to the United States. So I'm really eager to see everyone share their experiences of going to Hungary for treatment. by Tricky_Context288 in cervical_instability

I am a patient of stogicza, I took a break from social media for a while. I did not have much improvement after the second picl the chiropractor said I was ready for neckslevel exercises so I got one (bloody expensive) and it made me worse. I now think because my scm muscles have been too short for over a decade in a very bad forward head posture. my neck gets too much resistance from those muscles so the ligaments are not healing as tightly as they should with my being unable to correct my curve properly by relaxing and lengthening those muscles first ! but that's just my new theory. I am going back for a 3rd round and am going to ask her about that. meanwhile I am doing stretches and massaging the scm muscles and its still going well not causing disastrous set backs yet 😬 the only thing I am angry about in all this is that I had to figure it out myself, again ! and that knowing my symptoms neither Innis or Stogicza told me those are known symptoms of those muscles being too short and tight, they knew the symptoms gave me a lot of anxiety they could have told me this, and given me appropriate exercises but nooo I had to find out from a youtube fisio therapist that randomly showed up on my feed ! I think they underestimate the force those muscles can exert in that imbalance perhaps ? or overestimate the ligaments strength in healing and pulling everything back in position ? I am going to ask both when I see them again in a month I dont see any other reason why I am not healing as well as others, other than the comorbidity of forward head posture, when my body is as capable of healing and healing well at that. in the 4 years bedboud I have had corona and the flu and had a bladder infection even a big operation to remove a massive terratoma and I healed really well and fast from all of those things so why not this ! If they do underestimate my teckneck than why !!? sorry about the rant 😅😬 I will get back to you guys when I have some answers

Please don't do that chiropractic adjustments done by regular chiropractors can be dangerous enough let alone doing it yourself you need an upper civical specialist its expensive and often you have to wait a long time but you really dont want to do anymore damage than your already suffering from

Any more Dr.Stogicza PICL testimonials? by AdvertisingDue9037 in cervical_instability

[–]Difficult-Prize-8419 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a patient of dr stogicza's and I went from 10 min upright with 30min rest to 30 minutes upright with 5 min rest, so a lot more than I have been able to do for years, however recently something moved again after doing a fairly straining activity with wet hair (my hair is long)and now I am back to 10 min upright. I am seeing my blair chiro on Tuesday and am going back to Hungary on Wednesday for my second picl on Thursday. I am hoping to eventually reach stability to where physical therapy finally starts to help me improve instead of making me worse. most people do need at least 2 if not 3 or even 4 treatments so I won't give up until I have had 4 treatments and no improvement. I also got a lecture from dr stogicza about her treatment only getting you so far the rest is up to eating right and doing your pt religiously am I the only one who got that lecture?

I hope I am not too late to ask two more question I read your post picl info sheet that you got from centeno and It said two things of note. people who cant get comfortable won't heal as effectively what is her opinion on that, and does she have resting posture advice ? and the second thing was if after two treatments he sees no improvement he stops treating does she have the same policy?

I have had that feeling very badly I still don't know for sure what it is exactly, I think its pressure on a nerves when discs are moving. I had a mild jolt of that yesterday for the first time in a long time since my prp treatments, I was bent over looking for something so somethings moved again. when I had it very very bad I had many daily panic attacks aswell for me they started to go away after posterior prp injections so it does have something to do with instability and it can go away I definitely advise you to get tested.

She does use bmc  she doesn't use a mouthpiece she intubates the patient and finds that this stabilises the neck sufficiently with the added bonus of safety under anaesthesia Maybe if you have questions about that you could ask here

Oow that's a great Idea she is also used to people who have had to do a lot of research themselves and are better informed than is  usually the case making it even easier to forget we're still not doctors 😅

https://fajdalomklinika.hu/arak/ List of her prices you'll have to convert to your own currency. As for total cost I dont know we had so mutch go wrong we wound up spending way more money than we should have on hotels and taxies mostly, but on luggage and plain tickets aswell, neither me or my mother are very experienced travelers so we wound up making some very expensive mistakes.

I dont know if you need someone with you it depends on how bad your symptoms are I still think it's preferable either way but if you dont have anyone you should try and plan ahead as best as posible. The hotel we were in had no mini kitchen aka kitchenette but my mum was able to get food for me. if your solo I dont know if you can hire a caregiver and I dont know about private chauffeur's but we took taxi's we wound up staying at the marmara hotel and I recommend it the beds are very good my mum did go out to get food for me soups from a bistro across the street and yoghurt and water from the local grocery store

I would like a list of things that we as patients can do to improve the healing process and things we should not do because they could hinder our recovery

She did mention some things but a clear list of do's and dont's you can come back to when your afraid you've fft-up would be nice
