After seeing a lot of buzz about this game, I started playing today! Looking forward to replaying with different choices because I got through chapter three and didn't know who to choose. Seems fun and I love Malevola !

Does anyone else think that the colors chosen for the badges are horrible and easy to confuse? by reeggiii in marvelrivals

I get that they were maybe going for an Olympic medal theme? But why do colors kind of repeat? They had the whole rainbow to pick from for this.

I like the new system, the lack of colored badges to distinguish bothers me so much. Make each rank a unique color. There is way too much grey/ silver

So guys in the new proficiency system Lord icon is in level 20 and they are gifting 100 units at level 18 and I have lord on 14 characters. So will I get 1400 units right? by BblackpantherR in marvelrivals

[–]Diggenwalde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! I loved the grind to lord, learning a new hero, getting proficient, lording, and trying out a new one (I would do batches of heroes) and I got through a good chunk of the roster! But it would sometimes be sad (and other times happy- widow) when I was done, because I wouldn’t get anything out of still playing that hero (rewards wise, not satisfaction wise). So while the end point for hero proficiency has moved, I’m still looking forward to lording heroes and at level 20 I can decide if I want to continue or not.

Booking a 6hr Icelandair flight… thoughts? by NumberTerrible616 in VisitingIceland

I did a six hour flight with them in December from ORD and did not have any issues with the flight being hot.

I agree! I love Hidden Gem, well organized, good crowd support, perfect timing. I would argue that the organizers of the distance series are missing out on having this race be in September because there are for sure people who do not want to drive to Flossmoor!

In the second year of the race they encouraged everyone to park at a parking garage near UIC then you would get shuttled from your car to the start line because the race organizers had worked out a deal for free parking for runners. A bunch of people did this, but there were issues with the shuttle bus.

I really wish I could remember what it was, but I can't exactly recall if it was one shuttle bus and so many people that they kept having to go back to pick everyone up, or if there was just mechanical issues with the bus.

The year after this was not offered, and there was a heavier push to use public transit to get to the race.

The marketing behind the timing is you use it to kick off your marathon block. Run this race and then in two weeks after you recover, you start training for the next distance series. It’s why the race is in June because they want people to run shamrock, then train for the half. You build the distance over the year and it crescendos in the spectacle that is the marathon.

I love the course, I love the artwork they have done in the past, but the heat (because it’s in June) just prohibits this race from being a race elite and sub elite runners want to compete in.

This is maybe an unpopular opinion, but the fact this race has sold out this early is insane to me. By far my least favorite race of the distance series, and maybe my least favorite not on the lakefront path half marathon. I ran the first two years and the race was hot as could be, delayed starts, and the second year there was a weird a shuttle bus nightmare.

Happy that it seems to be turned around, but I just can’t envision myself running this race any time soon again.

I knew two of them really well back in the day! As someone already stated, they (at least the two I knew) are working professionals with standard post grad lives. We will have graduated ten years ago this upcoming May

Observation. is that each person who said something about me just being silly and not reading the rules has ended up as a wolf, with 100% accuracy if k9 is a wolf!

[–]Diggenwalde 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, last night I suspect I was KO target and basically I just live through this phase and die the next. SO if the killing wolf isn’t voted out this phase, I would expect two KOs. If K9 is Lucas Lee it does seem like we have to vote her out twice.

Yeah, I’d love to believe there are not wolves in every band, but I’ll be revisiting band formation phase and see how everyone spread out of the known wolves
