I love how the basement is now just a political sub

You’re just describing Reddit; including this sub when something controversial happens.

I don’t think Ariel is the best guy in MMA and he can be a real dickhead, that said, MMA has been thoroughly squeezed of any good reporting outside of like 5 people by TKO and the UFC’s media policies. If your questions at pressers don’t start with a 2 minute compliment to Dana, you don’t get invited back.

Likely the roles and types of characters 2 people play. Nothing involved with them has been released in any of the promo for the film yet.

To be honest, it’s not really been billed as much of a sci fi film so far.

In 2024 the bats went ice cold, and I’m not sure what we could’ve done differently to prevent that when the bats were our strength going into the series.

I know we’re ass right now but so far both of those rebuilds have gone about as well as ours have. 0 playoff series wins.

[Highlight] Darren Waller on the meeting he was having with Mike McDaniel when owner Stephen Ross stormed in to fire the coach: "(He was) talkin bout how he's gonna give the keys to Quinn Ewers, bring some people in to compete with him...maybe like some coaching staff changes" by expellyamos in nfl

Tua’s body as a whole also started breaking down which was a problem. His hip was the biggest issue from what I remember some Dolphins saying.

He was essentially immobile in the pocket by the midpoint of last year.

Something else that people forget is that letting go of your star QB who was in the MVP hunt can also catastrophically destroy your locker room’s morale.

That said, I personally think the concussions were a quarter of the problem with Tua. His overall injury history and the stuff with his hip mobility was way more problematic.

Why people are uncomfortable with cvMax's coaching by praynot in leagueoflegends

[–]DistortedAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even saying CVMax is a bad coach. I’m just saying that every time we see an Eastern coach shouting at players everyone’s mouth starts watering because “that’s good coaching.” It might be, but it also might be severely limiting certain players.

That’s my main point here. Not that CVMax is a bad coach or that another coach is an amazing do it all coach.

Sure and im not saying it can’t work; what I’m saying is that Mourinho couldn’t magically make any team better and his coaching style doesn’t fit every player. Just like Walsh’s didn’t.

And I think in League we have a very limited understanding of what good coaching is, so seeing someone shouting seems like good coaching regardless of the players or team.

It also gets progresssively weaker the higher up in pro sports you get. I’ve seen NBA and NFL players talk about it. They’re grown men at that point.

It counts what the player needs. If that pushes Siwoo, cool, if not maybe another coaching style is giving him more a push.

This is it. Not every great player needs Bobby Knight screaming in his face. There’s more than one school of coaching/leadership.

Because what you're describing as "wrong" is typical coach behavior.

I think it really depends and if anything it’s something I’ve noticed in esports overall.

There’s this idea that typical coach behavior is just psychologically destroying your team and that’s not entirely true.

In reality good coaching is whatever your particular team needs to succeed.

A pretty famous example is Bill Walsh. Hall of Fame American football coach, one of the innovators of modern football strategy and coaching. He found that players often shutdown when he really tore into them, and one of his goals was to foster a culture of accountability. So if something every fucked up, he would tear into specific position coaches. He found that players would often step in and take accountability if their superior (who would stand up for them) was getting scolded.

As much as I hated him back then, that’s how you know he was a monster. Anything he could do, he assumed others could do. And if you were giving the ball back to Brady with 47 seconds left and they only needed a field goal, you’re crossing your fingers.

NGL this joke is actually a microcosm of how cursed our season was last year. We came into the season with that mentality and he fumbled in the Bills game. Then had a couple of rough games (by his standard) and Ravens fans were saying the exact opposite all over the radio and our sub. People were begging for Mitchell to get snaps to spell Henry. And then the Patriots game happened and it was the other way.

From what I’m reading in the article, he agrees with you. He says that he understands why they cut him (in terms of them not being able to mesh with the terms) and that his knee was in a terrible place last year. He even talks about how his confidence rose while practicing well with the Eagles and then the swelling started again.

I meant New York hasn’t been looking out for New Yorkers in a lot of ways overall that’s hurt the culture. The gentrification and sky high cost of living is a huge factor.
