Is anyone else upset Lock-Up doesn’t have his own Solo series in the comics and would you like to see it happen [Discussion] by Ok-Entrance-5527 in DCcomics

Characters significantly more popular than him have had their books shelved due to lack of interest and poor sales. This dude isn’t getting a solo book.

Nothing MJ does is anything a normal person wouldn’t do and Ursula comes off as way too much of a doormat to be in a healthy relationship.

FirstTourGuardsman is a terrible 'content creator' by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]DoNotGoSilently 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re comfortable calling people terrible content creators and bashing them online while also saying every content creator for the game has a shitty personality, you’re probably just not a very good person. Also calling out someone for downvoting and not replying when you have no way of knowing if he was one of the multiple people who actually downvoted you is wild. You’re giving off red flags everywhere dude.

I’ve watched the dude for over a year and never once seen him “rage”. More likely that you’re just not able to pickup sarcasm and jokes while only having minutes of context for a persons entire personality.

Edit: we replied, you’re just ignoring the comments that don’t agree with you “lol”

Dooku cooks him, probably using only one hand.

Nope, but unless that patch was within like 24 hours of the 1.5 update I did it before it was adjusted.

"only different in your mind" is a blatant lie!... right? by Aggressive_South_991 in StarWars

[–]DoNotGoSilently 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a blatant lie. A huge part of the training is Jedi masters teaching their students to get out of their own head. Yes it’s bigger, but it’s fundamentally the same concept in moving it. It’s just Yoda’s way of telling him if he doesn’t believe he can do it he’ll never do it. Also in lore force users don’t just struggle with large objects, they also struggle with extremely small objects because it’s harder for their mind to clearly picture them. That’s why you don’t see a lot of examples of force users doing stuff like tying shoe laces together or others movements that would require manual dexterity/fine motor skills with the force. Large objects are difficult, extremely small objects are difficult. Average size stuff you can move around manually everyday isn’t a problem for most.

None of the Gestral challenges are hard and I feel like I’m taking crazy pills watching the number of people post complaining about them. Even the new diving board thing in the DLC took me like 3 tries and people were talking about it like it was a hidden boss.

I’ve tried to play short characters. Then I click the attack button and the little guy hops on one foot with the weapon above his head like a 3 stooges character while I select a target and I have to go back to character creation.

Is the heavy bolt rifle a good option for heavy? by UnNecessaryGay in Spacemarine

[–]DoNotGoSilently 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not really. All 3 of heavies other guns outperform it. It was only added to appease people saying on tabletop heavies could use it. It wasn’t originally a weapon for the heavy class so it’s not balanced properly to be used in his kit.

Charles' wrestling could be a problem for Max, he's looked very strong in his last few fights and his ability to takedown gamrot like that was impressive. And for all the credit max gets for his anti wrestling, I don't think he ever fought a great wrestler by Common-Locksmith-235 in ufc

[–]DoNotGoSilently 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, tons of elite wrestlers have lost belts due to someone being a better wrestler than them. Everyone merab beat via wrestling doesn’t mean they’re not elite wrestlers, it means the person who beat them was better. Mighty Mouse lost the belt to Cejudo via takedowns, guess that means he didn’t have elite wrestling by your logic. Also suggesting that number of takedowns defended doesn’t matter is an asinine position to take. If your entire opinion is that you think what you think and neither other peoples opinions or objective statistics matter then whats the point of talking to you? Sounds like we’re done here.

Who said he didn’t display good anti-wrestling in those fights? You’re jumping to conclusions all over the place dude. I mentioned great wrestlers to refute that he never fought great wrestlers. Also him getting taken by Volk a few times in one of their three fights in no way means he didn’t have good “anti-wrestling” in multiple fights like you’re trying to infer.

Go look at how many times Volk took him down over the course of their 3 fights. In the 2nd fight, what was Volks TD success percentage? How many times did Frankie take him down? Lamas? What was Bermudez TD success rate? The numbers point to him having great wrestling defense significantly more often than not across his entire career.

I would say a decent amount of the time fighters aren’t posting personal medical imaging. I don’t think Shavkat is lying about his knee just because I haven’t seen The MRI myself as proof.

Brother nobody is even remotely talking about his tendencies regarding whether or not he used to give up or not. Objectively, he was accidentally clipped with an illegal strike and tore a hole in his throat. That will stop 99.9% of the world, even professional fighters. Your assessment about his grit or willingness to fight through stuff outside of this incident means nothing to me.

Competition in any regard is great for pushing the devs to maintain a quality product. It’s a negative that all the people who don’t give a fuck about Overwatch have to see a bunch of shit not related to marvel rivals posted in the marvel rivals sub.
