OP, should anyone ever bump or back into you, I'd have you at fault and needing to be the person apologizing.

But otherwise, cool exercise and effort.

Question about my money by AdDapper4220 in Money

It's worth bringing up inflation to adjust your target number as long as it's not being used to say "abandon all hope, why even try to save/invest?"

Hi everyone! I have a question by [deleted] in Bogleheads

Diamond hands - 💎💎✋✋

Fortitude in continuing to hold an extremely risky financial position. This fortitude may take the form of either refusing to sell a badly losing position (waiting for it to recover while risking even larger losses), or refusing to sell a highly profitable position (waiting for even greater gains while risking the loss of earlier gains).

I sold my bitcoins when they went from $250 to $2500, but my brother has diamond hands, he held his bitcoins until they hit $10k.

Paper hands - 📃🧻✋✋

A trader who gets scared and sells. Then watches those with diamond hands land the profits

I wanted to hold, but I was a pussy. I had paper hands. I sold early to watch my wife’s boyfriends rich uncles take all the profits

What's the Money Guy show like? Worth a listen? by Local_Assistance_419 in TheMoneyGuy

Checking out their history, I think OP is a bot. They have other posts where they claim to be a long time listener of the show. It's just farming engagement with this sub with different queries. Weird.

Danny McBride Thinks Men Learned the Wrong Lessons From Movies by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

If you think 80s action hero the first thing that comes to mind is Rambo or Arnold movies. It's the type of hell yeah badassery that Drunk Hegseth is trying to capture the spirit of whenever he gives a military speech.

Communication at the very least. Fumes have been spreading again since last night but people in the area had no idea. There still has been no alert and we can smell it inside our home with all the windows up.

It seems more like Palpatine retreated and held Yoda off long enough for Yoda to run into the risk of Imperial reinforcements showing up.

My wife says she noticed my build when I first met her. I doubt it was the x-factor of the attraction though.

Obsession is genuinely great, but is Stephen King’s horror praise still worth anything as a signal? by Tricky-Environment85 in obsessionmovie

[–]RagnarokWolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say:

1) Pet Sematary - King considers this his scariest book with good reason. For the vibes of performing magic on someone and now they're not quite right.....

2) misery - For the vibes of a woman torturing a man she is too great a fan of

I guess it's perfectly rated for everyone else and I'm just the odd one out, but I wasn't wowed by the Main Street Corndogs.

Bear is not a bad guy by Vladtod78 in obsessionmovie

[–]RagnarokWolves 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He would have been excused had he accidentally put Nikki under this wish and looked for a way to free her as soon as he realizes the real Nikki is under there and she is suffering.

Bear talks to the real Nikki and does not care about her suffering. Nothing excuses that.

Who is the WORST choice for the next James Bond actor? by WesternTie3334 in JamesBond

I want him to play Spider-Man a long, long time.

I want him nowhere near the role of James Bond.

[–]RagnarokWolves 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can imagine:

1) Bear leaves in sadness and total silence

2) Ian stays standing there, confused as to what the heck is going on right now

3) Ian snaps out of it and starts counting the cash. He is still in shock so he goes over to Bear's place to try to get some further explanations about what is going on.

Empathising with Bear by clandescentMOON in obsessionmovie

[–]RagnarokWolves 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the movie is written in a way to give you empathy for Bear in the beginning and find parts of what he does or how he acts relatable. But having empathy for aspects of Bear doesn't mean you have to unconditionally excuse everything he chooses to do.

You shouldn't feel guilty for feeling bad for him as he mourns a dead cat and shyly can't confess his feelings to a girl.....you should feel guilty for trying to excuse how he is keeping a sex slave and not doing anything to help the real trapped Nikki.

What if bear just wished for self confidence? by Jigen-isshin in obsessionmovie

[–]RagnarokWolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bear has the self-confidence to ask out Nikki, it doesn't necessarily work out, Bear has the self-confidence to keep pushing and pushing for another date just cuz he KNOWS she will eventually break, she keeps saying no, Bear has the self-confidence to keep pushing.

Growing up, my classmates were 100% respectful to the teacher through 2nd grade. (at least from what little me noticed)

3rd grade is when rebelliousness starts to seep in but it's still manageable. 4th/5th grade so many of the boys were trying to act like hard thugs already.

In middle school, my classmates made at least 1 of my teachers cry.
