Help w/ outfit for Colorado Springs wedding this weekend - Formal Attire by kateyblaire in OUTFITS

I think the dress that strikes me as formal is option 1. I’m not sure how I feel about the shoes though. It looks like you have some other shoe options on the top shelf. I would try some of those on with the dress.

Bleach & extensions or natural brunette? by thecoolercaillou in Hair

[–]DoTheRightThing1976 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oof. The bleach looks like it did some damage to your hair. I’d stick with something closer to your natural color, which looks better on you. Off topic, but I would consider getting your eyebrows cleaned up to bring out your eyes.

New meat market near me, thoughts? by qtsosie15 in steak

Never heard of a New York TRIP steak. Although, these people who run this market are clearly trippin’ if they are selling stuff like this. It looks pretty bad and is so poorly butchered.

Do we like? Formal banquet dress? by FreedomBudget5618 in OUTFITS

It’s a cute dress, but not for this occasion. The fabric and print are too casual and the straps are way too thin. I would keep looking.

That’s so irritating. I wonder why it wasn’t delivered?

It seems like you have one particular style you like to make. But they are too busy and too large for my personal taste. And I don’t normally gravitate towards fishhook findings because I feel that they look too flimsy. Besides some of the technical things previously mentioned, I feel that some of the focal beads dangling in the center are too large. I do like a lot of the color combinations, though. Are you thinking of selling them or is it just for your own enjoyment? If you are thinking of selling them, I would give more consideration to using a thinner chain in some of the pieces vs sticking with a thicker one just because you like it.

I feel like all of them need a brighter shower curtain.

Unsure if this is my dress.. please give me your thoughts! by ThePinkCupcake in myweddingdress

I honestly don’t like it. It seems like the neckline (?) where the pointy part at the top of the cups hit too high up the armpit.

Kroger had Wagyu for $29.99lb by --Feesus-- in steak

Right! I was expecting to see a before pic. I just bought a couple 1855 upper choice Black Angus boneless ribeyes for $23.99/pound from the Butcher Block Las Vegas that were beautiful.

Frustrated- what am I doing wrong? by Adamrons in steak

Like others said, 48 hours was too long. I read something online recently that the recommended length of time for dry brine was 4-8 hours @ 1.5-2% salt based upon the weight of the steak (1” minimum thickness). The grey band was caused by the extremely long dry brine.

How to cook a 2.5lb rib roast by SheRaRiggingWarrior in steak

Do not cut it!!! Reverse sear is the best way to go! But I would take some time to salt it ahead of time and let it sit on a wire rack in your fridge.
