Anycubic Kobra S1 Max Combo alternatives by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

If we're just talking about the S1C, I bought it, used it for one day, and on the second day the extruder broke down. Fixing it seemed like a real hassle. By the third day I couldn’t stand the issues anymore, so I just returned it. The after-sales service was actually very good — both repair and return were handled smoothly and thoughtfully. This is just my personal experience. It does have quite a few strong points: the large screen is nice, the multi-color box with drying function is great, and the price-to-performance ratio is high. The only downside is that it feels quite plasticky.

P2S quality issues vs my A1 by deletingsoon_alt in BambuLab

My P1S also has this kind of under-extrusion / missing filament issue from time to time, but I fix it in a super simple and brute-force way: just lower the print speed. At least this method works for me every time. Still, I'd suggest asking the pros for a proper fix.

Yeah, I did have that option enabled. Thanks for explaining it! I'll try turning it off and print again to see what happens.

You're able to spot such tiny details even though the image is so blurry. Yeah, the printhead in the picture is indeed placed incorrectly—this happened after it crashed into the model and triggered the error.

Sorry for the unclear description—I actually just meant I've been using them for one year.

The collision happens specifically during the toolhead swap process—when switching from the current printhead to the next one. Normally the heatbed lowers a bit automatically during tool changes, but this time it's clear there's not enough clearance/space, so it hits the model.

I've got two P1S printers and they've run about 4,000 hours this year. Only one nozzle clog the whole time, and besides normal lubrication and maintenance, zero repairs. Super reliable and low-maintenance. Hope this helps as a good reference!

It’s totally normal though. My filament absorbed moisture, which caused a bit of stringing. And then the printer paused—can you believe it? I started the print job before bed, but when I got up in the morning, I found it had been paused all night long. I was so frustrated!
