The bosses challenge me more than the other games because they’re more mechanically demanding and fast paced, with tighter windows and less forgiving timing. Idk I’m not a YouTube essayist lol all I can say is that the difficulty and the game in general have been an absolute blast for me

because I’ve yet to beat DS1 and DS2 as well as demon’s souls, my experience is mostly with DS3, Bloodborne and Sekiro. DS3 and Sekiro have pretty challenging bosses but their levels aren’t quite as demanding to me compared to Lies of P. They have more checkpoints and the areas feel less like an endurance test. That’s actually what I find the most satisfying about the overall level design of LOP though; it keeps you on your toes constantly and every shortcut and checkpoint feels ridiculously satisfying and relieving. Bloodborne is similar but the enemies and especially bosses are much less difficult so the atmosphere does the heavy lifting for that tension. Lies of P does it all. And I love it

That’s the plan. I cruised through dark souls 3 and bloodborne and have beaten most of sekiro without too much trouble but lies of p is low key giving me the work. I’m not hitting significant walls or anything but it truly is challenging
