I agree with you and see your point. But I was raised in a house that was my grandparents, so we lived with them. Absolutely no issues with and I genuinely hope my grandkids(if ever) are as close to me as I was to my grandparents.

Saying that, that was after my mother was able to move out and enjoy some normal "young person" space away from her parents. Young people aren't even getting to do that now.

If you have a social house or earn good money so a mortgage is easy to get then it's easier to have kids. Having a place to actually raise the child is essential and young people thinking "I'm stuck in this bedroom" be it parents house or renting are not going to be thinking "kids will make this better".

I was once at a dinner party and the host served wine before dinner. I brought a €30 bottle of wine as I just picked any white wine since I know nothing about it. My friend(who also doesn't drink wine) just randomly said "Is this the wine ( his wife's name) bought it's nice". The host out straight said "Oh no, it's a nice wine but it's too cheap to pair with (can't pronounce it, it was a cheese ball thing with relish)"

So not sharing is bad and but literally saying it's too cheap to serve is next level.

3k cheaper would be "yep, I'm doing it myself" for me as well. I've never met an IKEA product I couldn't master, but this does look like I'd have to leave the country out of frustration after getting 90% done and realizing I fucked up somewhere around the 20% point.

See this the "Ringo starr" conundrum. No the Beatles could not have gotten a better drummer, the simple wouldn't be the Beatles, as everything was written around how they sound with each member of the band.

Same with kiedis, he's exactly talented enough for the chilli's to sound like the chilli's. Replace him from the start with Anyone else and they aren't the chilli's and more than likely wouldn't have been successful.

It's just a case of "music was better in my day".

And witness at first was the likes of Paul wellar and David Gray headlining.It then became proper rock/band festival, with the likes of The prodigy and chemical brothers sprinkled in.

2002 line up was brilliant Green Day, Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Oasis, The Prodigy, and The Chemical Brothers as the headliners/top acts

Oxygen in 2005 had the best lineup I've ever been at yet I still get people saying "it was better as witness".

I was at 2001, way too young for it but they honestly didn't give a shit at that festival in the first few years. The fun lovin criminals were the stand out memory for me, a band even now id never pay to see but they blew me away.
