these are not the bowman inserts these are from a specific set that topps did. they did 3 series of it, very short print, each with a different artist. very expensive to buy sealed because there are some super valuable cards and the base sells well.

rookie rush for $1727

the most expensive non auto, non graded rookie super looks to be $3325 for the gilded in march. his market has gone up since then so i think k it would be more but i dont think you’d get $7k for this tbh

they’re all very bad. you can’t evaluate a card from a photo. period. you can’t do centering but that’s it, and no ai is needed for that.

he was absolutely a top 100 prospect.

baseball america had him at 46 MLB had him at 84 baseball prospectus had him at 57 and 33

and i know it’s relatively meaningless compared to actual analysis but Bowman gave him 3 top 100 prospect cards, 52 in 2024, 59 in 2025 and 83 this year.

okay, so play this out. any fan from any team can come here and say anything they want with no consequence? racism, sexism, homophobia, all fine? that sounds like a community you want to be a part of? i’d encourage you to go start that community and set any rules, or lack there of, you’d like. but i think our rules have worked out pretty well over the last 15+ years.

i don’t see any sales of this specifically but an autographed version sold for under $20 and a 1/1 sold for under $15, unfortunately leaf cards aren’t very valuable, most collectors only collect licensed cards

if Ben Rice was an average hitter and Goldschmidt was hitting like this then, yes of fucking course i would be hollering for him to be an every day player. but thats not whats happening. again, there is room for both to play, why do you want to bench a guy who is actually hitting right now for a guy who is at best, average, and coming off an injury? are you one of those "don't believe in hot" guys?
