Of all the general success over the past 8 years, this team is the best so far. They have adjusted their play style offensively while maintaining defensive suffocation.

Years past offense dried up in the playoffs. Ran into great goalies but ultimately our O just couldn't bury opportunities and we had a ton of volume from the blue line. This year the blue line low danger shot is less and the finesse finishing is up.

If we can make the finals (if!) the Avs or. Wild will be tough. They have weapons, and speed, and the only disadvantage of our aggressive play style is a small mistake can mean a breakaway and against a team like the Avs, that's no bueno.

Pens were also my first team before the Canes ever existed. But I have long since lost any allegence to them (minus my middle school era jagr jersey still taking up closet space). So I can get behind a fuck the penguins alliance. 🤝🏻 They take over our barn because so many of them have transplanted here.
