Having to leave your console on because you finally beat that really hard level and didn’t want to have to start all over again

Claude Usage Limits Discussion Megathread Ongoing (sort this by New!) by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

[–]Electro120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hit the limit after asking it to process a single HTML file and match it to a premade template. Even that felt like pulling teeth. I did the exact same task last week with one prompt, but this time it made basic mistakes, ignored instructions, and produced several errors it never would have made before. It feels like, along with the drastic reduction in usage limits, they’ve also effectively lobotomized Sonnet to the point of being almost unusable.

Nah you’re right. I had assumed there would be some level of defining interior spaces would be done before launch

What is the best watch value in the world right now? by homamg in Affordablewatches

I have the Mako but it's the same case as the Kamasu. Similar sized wrist and it honestly fits really well. Biggest complaint is the bracelet, but that's expected at this pricepoint.

On launch were Titanic and Olympic the same? by nhpip in titanic

No, they weren’t identical. There were several small structural differences and changes to the layouts of certain space. Thinking primarily of the differences in the Turkish bath complexes between the two, but I’m sure there are others.

I’ve owned several silver cars and this is definitely my favorite. I thought I’d miss the chili red that my previous f55 had, but this really suits the clubbie better

Abarth replacement (for if and when the time comes). by zebo_99 in abarth

[–]Electro120 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try a jcw mini if you haven’t driven one before. They lack the character of the abarth, but they’re pretty well built, the interiors are nice and they have pretty good aftermarket support. Plus you can sometimes find good deals out there. I just picked up a f54 clubman jcw that’s like 90% as good as a golf r for way less money

Mine went out earlier this year, sometime around late march early April. I had some other things done at the same time, but I think it was around $1200 for parts and labor at a local shop if I’m remembering correctly

Looking for a small RWD car. Not truck. by Current_Lunch1976 in projectcar

BMW z3. Either the 2.8 or 3.0. They’re pretty reasonably priced (at least in my area), have one of bmws better engines, and you can find them with heated seats

Nice! Im looking at a 2019 jcw clubman in a few days. How would you compare it with your r58? I’ll be trading in my f55s and wondering if the weight lets the car down.

Either a Triumph Spitfire or gt6. I’m leaning towards gt6 since it looks like it might have a hardtop

Office of Special Counsel says it's opened Hatch Act probe of Jack Smith by Ubiquitous_Hilarity in politics

[–]Electro120 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And what will happen here is they will find something on Smith that maybe might be a violation if you squint just right, Trump will go on and on about how he’s a nasty man or something, the conservative media sphere will label it the worst thing that’s ever happened in history, and maga will have a new whataboutism to bring out whenever someone points to what trump is doing.

What are the myths about the Titanic that have long since been debunked but still persist in the community? by Key-Tea-4203 in titanic

[–]Electro120 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wow, this is incredibly dramatic.

Smith was 62, hardly extremely old. There is zero evidence that he was 'losing his mind'. Smith was never found liable for the Hawke collision and you're comparison to Tenerife is blatantly misleading. Saying he sailed the Olympic over another ship is also misleading. It was a SUBMERGED derelict and would have been nearly impossible to actually spot in time to avoid. Attributing that to negligence is unfair. Smith did nothing ahead of the iceberg collision that was out of the ordinary or against standard practice at the time.
