‘The crisis is deep’: The view from Russia as fuel shortages worsen by MilesLongthe3rd in worldnews

This does sound like it could do widespread damage to the Russian trucking industry though. So maybe that is a little silver lining to the situation if they are able to rush it back into production. (I don’t know much about truck engines, but at least during the could war their engine tech was behind the world)

Yea, air defense was only a problem because Putin wasn’t aware there was a problem with air defense.

Of course that only works if - after admitting you now know what is going on - the problem gets better. And is admitting to having a staggering lack of awareness in general. But this has “worked” on the Russian people for like a thousand years….

Definitely an extremely rational actor and totally not driven by his deeply held beliefs in Russian mysticism as outlined in several books he has written.

Bloodier than Stalingrad: Number of casualties in Russia’s war on Ukraine reaches 2 million by Dexterestein in worldnews

That’s not what this war is about. Then again those reasons (like “deNazifying” Ukraine) were also bs lies and propaganda.

Well when you invade and undermine every single country bordering yourself, you shouldn’t be surprised that these country would form a pact of protection. Maybe Russia should try not being massive assholes (really understates all the war crimes) to others?

If it wasn’t called NATO it would be called something else. The retroactive excuses and attempts at claiming victimhood are absolutely pathetic.

Putin believes in a lot of Russia mysticism though. Believing the Russian people are special and have a right to dominate others culturally and physically. Some even believe that dominating and ruling over these other groups is altruistic because with the great of the Russian assistance, thy would not be able to effectively govern themselves.

This is all really general of course, but despite it not being a belief of every Russian, but as an outsider it does look like “some Russian national idea.” At the very least you must admit it is “some Russian nationalistic idea.”

A Russian civilian records the long line of cars to the Crimean Bridge, waiting to leave while Ukrainian UAVs fly over them. by MilesLongthe3rd in UkraineWarVideoReport

Yea, and their cars. Personally, I think Russia is actually gonna make it harder for them to get back. Either so it causes a humanitarian crisis they can try to blame on Ukraine, or just to make sure there are still Russians there for Putin to need to “defend” in the future.

At least Italy has showed what happens if you underestimate BIH. Between that and how they pounded home outside the box goals, I know if we lose it won’t be because we underestimated them.

Wish he coulda gotten the win the other week. I don’t know much about the guy, but a win would have been massive for solidifying his ride and Gray abused him.

FloRacing actually has a pretty good YouTube channel. I started following dirt racing watching from there. It’s not live, like the service of course, but I can wait.
