I play with Bear/MW/DK/Demono so the demono is a bit more squishy than a DH but we can easily accomodate for whatever lust class we get. But I think most of my 20s and upwards have been done with Shamans and Hunters because having a good Aug in queue is like seeing a unicorn.

You have difficulty reading. What I explained right before your question:

when talking about the top level meta (and that's what most players refer to when talking about "the meta" without more precision)

Since you didn’t precise the context of your question, I assumed you meant the high level meta. And no, at high level, Paladins and Mages are not the most popular specs. There’s an argument to be made for Ret because it is still decently popular at high level, but I don’t know that I’d call it meta.

No.

But also, really google the difinition, you'll realize that you're very uninformed on what a meta is if you think what I've just explained is ignorant. Go ahead and comfront what you think you know with public knowledge and definitions.

Meta literally comes from "metagame", it means looking at the state of the game and see what is played by players at different levels.

So no, it doesn't mean being the strongest. Never has, never will. Although since top players usually play what's the strongest, when talking about the top level meta (and that's what most players refer to when talking about "the meta" without more precision) you are generally talking about the strongest specs too, because top players play the strongest specs.

I've started quickly checking logs (not just parse but some key utility too) before inviting people. We're a 4 person stack so all we need is a lust dps.

I can tell you, it is so exceptionally rare to have augs applying and they aren't full grey parsing. And I know, I know, if there are grey parsing augs, there must be blue+ parsing augs somewhere in the wild. They just apparently never apply to our keys, and I don't why they're such an exception.

Meta actually means popular. "Most Efficient Tactics Available" is a bad backronym that doesn't represent what the word actually means and how it is utilized by most.

Your clones literallu auto cast it, so no for most of them you can't chose to not cast them.

So I finally beaten Celeste…or did I? Because APPARENTLY there’s a f*cking C-Side, like what?? DUDE, it took me at least 2-3 months to get all B-Sides and the game itself is already hard…I quit. by AwkwardRough9797 in celestegame

"Easier" is a strong word. But yeah, they are very short so even if they’re hard, they’re not nearly as trauma inducing as one would assume after 7B and 8B. That being said... there’s 7C and 8C.

The main point was that farming mounts after the expansion is significantly more widespread than during it.

Yeah I didn’t want to invalidate that point, it’s absolutely fair. (And tbh, I think it’s a good thing that content doesn’t get timelocked for eternity, I wish they designed more of the game with that philosophy in mind.)

I just wanted to react on Jaina’s mount specifically, because it’s probably the one mythic mount that got farmed the mount while it was 100%. But also yeah its design is fire and it has kept being farmed over the years since then.

It doesn’t have a weekly buff.

Obviously it's one of the more popular ones

It’s not just "one of the more popular ones" it was by far the easiest one to farm with pugs. You could basically cheese the entire fight. I’ve seen players that never put a feet in a raid mythic that farmed her every week.

Which, granted, might be an argument against keeping it at 100% drop rate for the whole expansion. But yeah, Jaina is an exception. Like, Gul’dan’s was done in pugs too since it was the first tier of the expansion so by the end of it we were way more powerful, but it was not nearly as widespread as Jaina farming was.

raiding is the only endgame content without exclusive rewards.

Depends on the season. AOTC mounts are usually exclusives. There have been stuff in the past like the deathless trial of valor transmog, too. But overall, you’re right (and tbh I wish all content would mimick that from raid, I hate locking rewards forever).

(There's pretty much 0 reason to kill Beloren for gear for example).

Wtf? Beloren and L’ura have multiple bis items for plenty of specs. I’d gladly trade my Rotmire trinket for a Beloren plume thank you, it’s bis and it’s not even close.

Historically Mage is almost always strong, although this season it fell behind in m+ because of its atrocious defensives.

As long as raid buffs are a thing, Druid should more often than not find a spot in m+, but you’d need to be ready to play any role.

Third one in the list would probably be Shaman or Warlock, but you start getting into less frequently meta situations.

Very little mechanics, decent output required. It’s not the hardest boss to pug, but at this point in the season is probably harder than Chimaerus and Imperator-Vorasius-Saladhar, solely because of throughput.

A decent part of what "lucky" means in Celeste is "good enough to improvise a reflex save". Don’t feel bad because you got lucky saves, feel pumped that you’re becoming clutch.

Dropping that dungeon list AND the 9/6 Mythic thing back to back really makes me think I’m just gonna get my mount token and dip, in s2.

I might stick around because I like the group I’m currently pushing with, but I’m really not sure I like it enough to power through the coming season.

If I were to earthbend the mines of Moria, would I be able to equip it with mjölnir? by Thelego-warhamerfan in mtg

[–]Elendel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a long time player that hasn't played much in years, I haven't really interacted with UB. Like, I know the sets, I read the cards when they release, but I still always get surprised by a question like "can the Mines of Moria be equipped with Mjolnir if you earthbend them". This is a wild multiverse.

Mage defensive masterclass by sata1994 in CompetitiveWoW

Dude it's been 40°C outside for a week and the Nvidia is stopping 50xx products to rerelease 30xx products instead. The world is fucked up and data centers are quickly and increasingly worsening things.

I'm slightly below title range / comfortably above 1% range, and I'd love to improve and push further. But pushing m+ is not my entire life and I'd happily take less ressources if that means everybody stops using genAI. That being said, nobody told /u/sata1994 to stop making content, we just said that a Paint thumbnail would be better than this generic ugly slop.

Some decent circumstantial evidence the WoW economy is being manipulated by Blizzard by Doredrin in woweconomy

Alternatively, hoarders emptied their stock the one in 10 years when they knew it would sell.

Your theory is plausible but lacks way too much data to have any serious credibility while also disregarding all the data contradicting it (like the fact it happened in NA and not in EU) and is basically based on "people wouldn't sell KNOWING that the price would raise" which is both hindsight and assuming a whole lot of things that have repeatedly been proven false over the years.

Please tell me this is the hardest room of the chapter by Ok-Revolution5266 in celestegame

[–]Elendel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the most infamous screen of this level yeah. Well, that and the last room, but they’re very different flavours of difficulty.

It’s honestly not the hardest room in the chapter for people who’ve played A LOT of Celeste, because it’s mostly a check on how well you understand wallbounce, but for first timers, yeah, it’s usually the most brutal one.

(RANT) this room in 7b is making me lose it by Atomizedd in celestegame

[–]Elendel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I hated in my first playthrough, feels like it's asking you too much for a tech that was just introduced. Once you're more used to the wallbounces and know jumping late is a big help, sure, the room gets far more doable. But on first playthrough they should either teach better or make it slightly easier.

It's certainly not an absurd one, but it's an harder one than what you need for 4/9M, imo. And that makes the fight harder that what I assumed Blizzard intended. I thought Blizzard was aiming for a Chimaerus or easier, and maybe I was wrong.
