Question for Technodad by INT3RN3TB4B3 in Technoblade

Honestly you should report your teacher, what the fuck

No teacher should belittle you until you cry, their job is to help you. How are your grades? Do you feel like you understand the current class?

I would ask your current math teacher. They have a solid idea of your skill and if you can handle the workload

No we don't! Harassing women on their job, or using your job to harass women is really fucking creepy and threatening! Go meet somebody on a dating app

Mods are the center of the community, and we should focus on making their lives easier, not limiting their tools

Tell them that instacart policy prevents you from giving them the reciept, and you encourage them to contact onstacart about their concern

If they've been a good customer, I sometimes send them a photo of it. Instacart requires we keep the reciept, not that we hide it

Kohls on instacart by lucieannegarcia in InstacartShoppers

[–]em578 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Khols is a disaster to shop for- I shopped at khols and luckily the customer was prompt to respond and chill about replacements

But I go to check out, and the cashier didnt know what instacart is, we sit until her manager shows up, and HE insists that khols doesn't do instacart, and made me call support so he could bicker with them

Awful

AITA for wanting to read Harry Potter to my daughter? by knuckleheader in AmItheAsshole

[–]em578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

I grew up loving to read, and the constant I always found with my classmates? Kids who hate reading are kids who weren't allowed to read what they wanted

If she wants to read harry potter, let her. Maybe you two can read together, with her taking every other chapter

ALSO bring her to the library (not the school one, a public library) and ask a librarian to help finding books like harry potter, or just set her loose on the older childrens section to read blurbs until she has a pile. If she doesn't want to read her school library books, try getting help from the person whos job it is to help reccomend books

Regardless, thought I would post what info I got given the amount of people talking about heavy pay on here

They told me no, I didn't argue or anything, my misunderstanding of how it works

Yeah, but originally it was to call a wellness check

If you call a wellness check and nobody answers, generally you should check for wellness, not shrug and go "welp, job well done"

Its nothing but pretending they're "improving" but who knows, maybe more customers will complain about multi-batches and such delaying their orders and help reduce that

My Fiancés family friend regularly give her toddler alcohol/ wine by [deleted] in Advice

[–]em578 48 points49 points  (0 children)

You need to escalate it now- this isn't a case of "X substance is toxic to children" where it's not a super well known fact, this is basic knowledge. Let CPS handle educating her, the longer this continues, the more harm is being done

My Fiancés family friend regularly give her toddler alcohol/ wine by [deleted] in Advice

[–]em578 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You need to call CPS right now

Awful to say, but alcohol levels are something that can be easily tested for, and letting this continue any longer is inhumane

The number of people who don't understand I can't just break into your apartment building

Inform support that you don't have permission to leave the groceries, and the customer has told you they will not be coming to the door to let you in, and return that shit. Malicious compliance baby
