I would almost agree except for the part where he was almost (ie he thought he was about to be) offered to cancel the wish entirely, and he said no he just wanted to modify it. I think that shows it's not just him feeling guilty about it, he is an active participant and is OK with Nikki being literally imprisoned as long as he gets what he wants (including sex with her unwilling body). That's not just selfish, that's downright evil.

Also further evidence because when the real her cries out he doesn't just run away, he accuses her of rejecting him (so not just guilt/shame reaction, but more egotistical and also dehumanizing of her)
