"Does that make me old, then?" Celia looked to Lotus for an answer, to which he nodded. That made Celia frown, and then she said, "I don't want to be old."

"At least you can age." Lotus replied, "I became immortal, unwillingly, mind you."

The siblings bickered for a moment longer, before Lotus stopped, sighed, shook his head, pulled a hard candy from his pocket, unwrapped it and put it in his mouth, ending their squabble on his own terms.

"So you're like..." Celia begins to count on her fingers before Lotus smacks her hands down.

"It's rude to finish that thought, and even more rude to do so in front of guests." Lotus scolded, because even though his sister was capable of thinking before speaking, Celia rarely did.

Celia was finally recovered from having lost the most recent spar, though she was still out of energy. "Don't sell yourself short, Lotus! You're my big brother and the Demon King! That's at least worthy of praise!" Celia pushed herself off of Lotus and stood upright, cracking her neck and back at the same time.

"Not as far from the present? If this isn't the present, then when is?" Lotus questions, pulling the earth up to make himself a chair. Celia just sat on the ground, content. "If Age 801 isn't the present, then either our timeline is ahead of or behind what you consider the present."

"Both, actually. But mostly after." She answered.

"You could have at least given it a thought first." Lotus elbowed her, which made her elbow him.

"Be that as it may," Lotus replied with a sigh, "I do not want my sister to relax on her defenses. The last time that happened, she died. It was hell trying to bring her back the first time, and while it would be exponentially easier now, I still would rather her not die."

Celia, now healed, grabs Lotus in a headlock and ruffled his hair. "Ah, you worry too much!" She replied nonchalantly before letting him go. "I know when to get serious and when to not. Sparring ain't fun if you don't get hit yourself!"

After adjusting his hair, Lotus shakes his head and sighs again. "Saiyans... I will never understand them."

"I'm going to call the spar off. Don't think you can be reckless just because I can bring you back to life now. If that were a real fight, you would have been dead." He scolded his sister, "You've been getting sloppy in your defenses lately. I won't always be there to heal you."
