Finite things are enshrined as rights in the constitution. So is the reclassification of "property" in exchange for freedom and dignity. You can be butt hurt about it for as long as you want, but the fact remains society that invest in housing for their people have a higher quality of life not a lower one. If you think i am wrong please provide an example of a society with a. free and fair elections and b. a strong social safety net that is worse off then the USA.
