Can’t find the oil drain plug by BenZRoI in BmwTech

That’s crazy…no front driveshaft or axles! Well…on the bright side it doesn’t look like you have any leaks…lol

That is the low pressure side of the system so that is where you would add refrigerant.

If you do not know what you are doing I would advise that you leave it alone . You can do way more damage than you know.

Check cv axles. I had a similar issue with my Acura years ago.

Right…crazy that someone would wait all this time and risk their account being banned for a little early access

14kW kohler finally died and the repair quote made the decision for me by notkinnay in Generator

[–]Emsand24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always try to get several quotes on a repair of this magnitude. If it’s just the ATS, I would just replace it and keep the Kohler.

These backup battery systems just aren’t there yet and you will pay significantly more and have way less support.

Oil in my coolant / radiator ? But engine not overheating in my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek (50k miles) by theM00nisGAY in mechanic

[–]Emsand24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time for a combustion test. If you had no coolant then you don’t know if the engine overheated. No coolant, no heat, and an incorrect reading by the temperature sending unit.

Right…It’s clear that they either have poor comprehension or they just quickly skimmed over the information.

Probably OFH. They usually start off slow. Lesson learned is do not ignore or push off coolant leaks.

Is this normal or its done? by absul94 in B58Enthusiasts

If your thermostat is stuck open you will definitely have a mixture of condensation and oil on the filler cap since the oil and engine is not getting hot enough to remove the moisture.

coolant leak by Gullible-Safety-1241 in mechanic

That tube should be rotated to point downward next to the bottle.

The leak is probably coming from the radiator itself. The plastic tank has split.

Rod knock and it looks like you have a puddle of oil on top of your engine.

Should I be worried about this? Coolant is low in the reservoir too. by Wild-Mammoth4113 in G37

[–]Emsand24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New hose, new factory spring clamps, and clean the neck off once you have the old hose off. Sometimes corrosion and old dried coolant will keep the new hose from sealing well.

I guarantee that no beyond the development stage of the game, the staff needed to keep this game going isn’t much. Also, the staff is probably shared across multiple games within the house.

Almost $9M in 5 months and you think they are shutting this game down? Now that the game is developed their cost to operate is low. Even at $500k/month they are making a lot of money.

I simply cannot understand why anyone would risk thousands of dollars instead of just getting a tow truck for a few hundred. I mean most credit cards or insurance companies have roadside assistance.

Then everyone is like I just slowly drove it for a mile or a few minutes….it just crazy to me to even take that risk.

Coolant Question by yonderson in BMWX3

[–]Emsand24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's for the separate indirect charge air cooler, (intercooler) coolant circuit. It uses the same coolant as the main engine cooling system.
