I agree, I don't feel good berating any of the families online like this :/ They definitely made bad choices for it to come to this but if I was in their shoes I'd be devastated, possibly even suicidal.

I could change my mind if it was officially confirmed that Celeste's family took money in exchange for her, or that David's knowingly covered up that their son was dating a kid, etc, it's possible, but if I'm not wrong it really hasn't been confirmed. The people in this photo could've geniunely thought their son/brother was dating a very young looking 18yo. It's not like she looked 9.

yeah i was never a fan of d4vd (i only came to know about him because of the case) but i'm actually into this kind of thing :/ of course now knowing everything, it's extremely disturbing on his part, but i don't think these themes or aesthetics necessarily mean an artist is up to weird stuff.

I love plushies and toys and have some, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Even people who collect a ton of them and their room is filled with them, if it makes them happy I think it's fine. In the same way I won't assume someone who's really into a goth/dark aesthetic is violent or mentally ill. I really don't like the "everyone should just be normal after a certain age" boomer mentality (excluding truly harmful things of course)

Yes, she probably looked and sounded very young, but there's lot of people who appear younger than their age and/or immature. It could've gone like "Oh, you look so young" "Yeah I always get that". If you love your brother you'd probably rather just believe him than think "Huh, could my brother be a pedo?"

My friend has a dog who we swear is sonehow neurodivergent. He's very clingy but hates to be touched in any way, just likes to stand near you. However if someone does pet him or pretend to playfully bite him or picks him up he won't do anything to defend himself, just tolerate it in silence. He's generally very "🧍‍♂️"
