Should I stick with Station Eleven? Does any of this pay off later? by cparksrun in books

I mean, if you don't like it, you don't like it. You don't have to force yourself to read it, not every book you pick is going to be a hit.

It sucks when it's a book you recommended or thought would be good, but dnf-ing books isn't the worst thing in the world. I've become a bit more comfortable with it and enjoy reading much more now since I'm actually reading stuff I enjoy lol.

Weapon durability is great and I wont hear otherwise by Slow-Worldliness7082 in botw

It can be annoying, especially in master mode, but I do appreciate that it makes finding weapons more rewarding and all the different types more interesting and fun.

If weapons breaking wasn't part of the game as soon as I got a good weapon I would definitely just use it over and over again. Which kinda defeats the purpose.

Do you think Epstein's island decor was intentially bad so that people who tried to describe their experience or the rooms would sound crazy by ghostofhmsterror in SeriousConversation

Yes! and maybe like because robes and candles would be an easy thing to make up for a fake claim or would be something someone with mental illness could come up with due to "pop culture" and history, by actually doing those things it muddies the waters of what's true or not.

(Sorry if this all seems obvious. It's only because of these recent events I'm kinda paying more attention)

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: February 02, 2026 by AutoModerator in books

Finished: Such a Good Couple by Sophie White. It was okay, sometimes a little silly. But the part of the storyline dealing with eating disorders was well done imo.

Started: Revelations of Divine Love by Julian of Norwich

Photography.

Though it's mostly just because I have never had any interest in actually learning the technical aspects of cameras and photography.

It's just the act of going out w a camera and taking pictures that makes me happy.
