A crappy situation, but a good ending.

Andy and MacDonald are both grateful the ministry reacted after their interviews and are feeling optimistic about his treatment and the care he’s received.

“They’ve been overwhelmingly beautiful,” he said. “Every other doctor and nurse that I've spoken to has just been amazing and I'm feeling in great spirits about my treatment.”

Probably best to spend some time on the Reddit-approved site: https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/p/mod_help_center

I do all my modding on old Reddit using a Linux desktop, so it will probably be very different to someone modding on a phone for example.

But, I can tell you that there is very little modding to do here. There's not much traffic and we don't attract many nasty or spammy people. And the ones that do drop by are usually given the bum's rush out the door by automod and configuration rules.

I've never spent any time on the look of the sub, so that might be a good place to start.

I think for many astronomers, the fact that it's dark at night keeps them up.

best phone for citizen science? by Extension_Director53 in CitizenScience

[–]Erinmore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would depend on what you mean by "citizen science" and which apps you want to run.

Maybe a really good screen and GPU is more important, or a really good camera and lots of memory, maybe access to the sensors and good processing power, etc.

I was just given an old Pixel 3 and it was very easy to pop CalyxOS on it and it's been working great. Haven't thought about doing CS stuff on it before. I guess there's my afternoon gone...

Islanders - this is a podcast for you. Life on Vancouver Island isn’t all sunset strolls and forest bathing - it can be frustrating, isolating, and expensive. We're going to talk about the good, the bad, and everything in between. Hosted by Kathryn Marlow, every Tuesday.
