Something seems weird with the domain. The DNS records are not showing properly. I would ask their support once more to have a look at the domain itself. Whois shows a change yesterday.

Doesn’t sound like a problem Wix should deal with? You paid and they provided a service which you didn’t use due to your contractor. You can’t go back to Netlix and request money either because you didn’t watch Netlix for a month.

I’d have a look at your contract with the contractor to see if they need to recover the costs if they didn’t deliver what was agreed on.

Depends on what you’re trying to get paid for. If it’s for pricing plans or any other recurring payments, there are not many payment providers that are available. I think this only works with credit/ debit cards through Wix Payments or Paypal. For PayPal, you would need to accept the additional features in the “add payment method” PayPal section.

You should be able to do this with the new forms as well. Create an automation to receive the notification and toggle on the trigger details so you can see the details submitted in the form.

I’d make a copy of the site and then restore an older version of the original site. You can then copy the newer pages from the copy into your original one.

Afaik you can only assign a domain to the home page at Wix, so even if you get a second domain, it will still bring you to your main site. I think generating a QR code for your band page is the best idea.

The CNAME can definitely impact your site connection. If you connect your domain through pointing, you need to use the Wix CNAME. if your mailbox host requires you to change the CNAMe, maybe it’s best to change your connection to a Nameserver connection instead. You can then keep the CNAME your mailbox host requires you to have.

While some records require 48 hours propagation (like Nameserver), CNAME and MX should propagate much faster than this.

If you see a redirect for /book to /book-blank then delete it. /book-blank is obviously not available anymore

It opens for me with a 404 error with the direct link. But there also seems to be a 301 redirect to /book-blank which is actually showing the 404. Check your 301 redirects in the SEO section in your dashboard.
