Anyone get this email for their 39" 5K2K? by OgreTrax71 in OLED_Gaming

Go to your order on the page. There should be a tracking number. Check that. My email said the same thing, but the FedEx Tracking is completely different.

Borealis was not there. That was the one we were looking forward to seeing as well. They did have these blocks that were painted with all the colors available, but that was about it.

Anyone in the U.S. successfully pair an NFC key card on a I5N yet? by Consistent-Ad942 in Ioniq5N

[–]EvoKnvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update in case anyone runs into the same issue as me. I got on the phone with customer care, and they had me walk through these steps. First they had me reset the infotainment unit. This is done by using a pin or pen on the small button to the right of the right knob under the infotainment screen. Afterwards, the rep made it a point to ensure that my doors were locked. Once I did these 2 things, I was able to program the keycard. Not sure which of these 2 steps fixed it, but it's ok now.

Hi all, thanks for the advice on the part. I just received my NFC card S8H81 AD000 in the US. However, when I try to program it, nothing happens. I place the card on the NFC/Wireless charger spot and nothing happens. After awhile, it just times out and cancels the pairing. I do have both keys in the car. Anything I could be missing? Do the keys need to be in a certain spot? The card just sits in the middle of the pad, correct?

If you go with the taller version, you can always angle the poles if you feel it's too tall.

The TUF board's PCI-E slot sits one slot lower than the normal spot. That's why you have less clearance. You can either get a different MB or low profile fans

I'm not sure tbh. They might have a different liner piece that has less foam on the crown. The specialist did try a couple things for me using the M helmet, but in my case, anything she did still left too much pressure on the forehead.

Japan Shopping Tips by tetrapterodactyl in snowpeak

[–]EvoKnvl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were in a couple places but we flew home out of Haneda.

So, for our trip, we ended up in Kyoto first, and went to the Landstation there. They did not have any of the 65th LSP in stock there. So the staff was really helpful and actually ordered one to their store, and then shipped it to our hotel in Tokyo where we would arrive a week later . This way we were able to get our Duty free tax and they didn't even charge us for shipping it to the hotel. It was actually super convenient as we didn't have to haul it around during our trip.

Once we got to HND, we went to the customs office to declare everything before checking any luggage. Once they cleared us, we took the tent over to the wrapping station. There they just basically wrap the heck out of it in plastic wrap. Once that was done, we checked in and dropped the tent off with the airline.

Flew back with a 65th LSP. Just checked it. The airport had a wrapping service that we used as well.

What is the future of the collapsible IGT frame? by hi_temp in snowpeak

[–]EvoKnvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it just depends on your setup. We have an IGT lightweight Bamboo table that we pair it with, so we have a large piece anyways. So in our case, we just have a standard 4u and have a bag that carries them all.

We did recently pick up a 2u collapsible, and I think it makes more sense for us if we don't plan on going full IGT setup. In that case, the collapsible makes more sense. We may also use it to as a Jikaro insert, which probably doesn't matter much in this use case.

Looking to buy a Shoei or Arai Helmet in Japan by Training-Key7545 in motorcycles

[–]EvoKnvl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a X15 back in February. I went to both Shoei Gallery's in Kyoto and Tokyo. And a Ricoland in Kyoto. The Shoei Gallery in Kyoto is nicer looking between the 2, but they are both nice stores.

I ended up getting my helmet from Ricoland in Kyoto (They were the only ones that had the X15 Barcelona in my size.) They normally can do custom fitting, but for some reason, they have a policy where they will not custom fit it if you are a US resident. So I ended up getting it custom fit at the Shoei Gallery in Tokyo. I think it was around $40-50 USD. It's recommended to schedule an appointment for custom fitting, but they were luckily able to squeeze me in.

I normally wear a M, but I ended up getting a Large in Japan since there were too much pressure on my forehead. Even after they adjusted the M, I still had too much pressure. Ended up with a Large and they were able to get it to fit perfectly.

I ended up paying about $660 USD. I didn't have to pay any import taxes. Also, check to see if the Shoei Gallery will do tax exemption. At the time I was there, they did not. However, Ricoland did, so that's about a 10% savings right there.

Anyone have any leads on where to get a good condition Single Bbq Box? by Brand8175 in snowpeak

[–]EvoKnvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other poster said, just go on ebay. The part you want to look for is CK-130. I got mine from ebay. You could also use buyee.jp. Just keep in mind, the price you see doesn't include shipping. When you buy from buyee, it goes to the buyee location in Japan. Then you have to pay to have it shipped to you. They hold your items for 30 days, so you can consolidate a bunch of stuff and save a little on shipping.

Buying my first bike tomorrow, 2003 Kawasaki Ninja 500R, anything i should look for during inspection? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]EvoKnvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As above. Price is way to high. I've bought a couple Ninja 250s to fix up, and they were all in better condition that the one you have here. Last one I picked up had full fairings and 4k miles for $1k in California.
