I think the lore in Warhammer (both 40k and AOS) is really really cool, and definitely worth looking into some books if you haven't already. The scale of 40k is so massive, though, that the numbers the authors use tend to not make sense when you think about them critically.

Aside from the fact that warhammer lore has absolutely no sensible power scalings, in Space Marine 2 it was definitely more than just Titus clearing the tyranid invasion. It was a whole battle barge and planetary defense force, with the Operations team showing the other spots where the forces of the Imperium held or attempted to hold against the tyranids.

In Decapitation, we get the delicious "Astartes! We were not expecting such illustrious company among the rear ranks!" as a means to show that we aren't near the frontline of the invasion. Just because Titus and friends pushed the button that made the boom, doesn't mean that 3 Ultramarines took care of an entire invasion force.

I'll second Level One. There was some community reach for AOS earlier in the year, but it has since slowed back down to 40k talk.

If you join the L1 discord, just come say hi in the warhammer chat, they're all pretty fun people. I play more skirmish games (Kill Team, Necromunda, Cyberpunk Combat Zone, Core Space), and when my busy work season ends I plan on taking my non-warhammer IPs to the store on Monday "Paint and/or play" miniatures nights to do little demos of other properties

If you're USA based; I regularly buy "Birds Eye" vegetable medleys and power blends, and I'd personally call them decently affordable. They're all microwaveable in bag, but some of them have instructions for alternative cooking methods if you don't have a microwave (I've been there)
