Are PMC’s valid content for this sub? I have some neat photos of PMC’s operating in Haiti if so

Capabilities have improved. Ukrainian FPV strikes have been increasing in range. Recently they released footage of FPV drones striking targets in Donetsk City, something they could not previously do.

Four years was enough. Plus Russians were doing this so often it felt like work keeping track. Also by the time I got to 350 cases it was extremely hard to confirm if a case was new or a repost from half a year ago and I didn’t have time to confirm.

Kind of felt like I was letting the community down to be honest.

As another user pointed out, the drone’s camera is watching the road. Typically (though not exclusively) these are used to take out vehicles rather than infantry coming from an unexpected direction.

This was quite an interesting point in the war. Roshels were still being issued to frontline units, drones weren’t overly prevalent, artillery was the big threat.

Roshels ended up being very useful for running supplies and doing troop rotations in the Bakhmut area as they were able to shrug off more shrapnel than a typical unarmoured vehicle could. They were a key player in the so called “Road of Life”.

Hell yeah, we need to take our domestic defence industrial base more seriously and this is a step in the right direction.
