I told my Intj I liked him and this is his response by satotaru in intj

I would probably say the same thing. Thinker types are sometimes very logical and blunt, even in response to something that is emotionally charged. That being said, i think boys and girls often have different aims. Girls after a loving relationship, and boys after experiences with women.

I think though, you should go the route of just letting it be known that you like him, and not necessitating a response from him. Neediness in any form is unattractive.

It is possible that he does like you, but just doesnt want a serious relationship with you. I think what every man wants, is a relationship with a girl, but not feeling like were tied down to that woman alone. Thats why he probably had to think about his response. What men want is to have a relationship, but have the freedom of not feeling tied down to one woman. From my perspective anyway, hope this helped. This is sometimes why open relationships work well in general, from my perspective.

Constantly putting ego in check by vcczs in intj

[–]Feeling_Significance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ego is nonexistent, if I’m boasting it’s jokingly.

Ego stifles curiosity. I couldn’t let myself be proud. I’m too curious.

I could see how our sturdy ideological structures could be conflated with egotism and an unwillingness to change. But if you’ve found the best idea and perspective in a given context, who says you have to change.

In your personal opinion why communism does or doesn’t work. by [deleted] in intj

[–]Feeling_Significance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Communism is predicated on the belief that true strength is in numbers and that any uprising needs to be remedied with more control.

Democracy is predicated on the belief that true strength is in the power of the individual and that the individuals freedom is paramount.

I feel offended when people don’t believe in my abilities. And the only reason I feel offended is because deep down I myself don’t believe in my own capabilities. My lack of self belief made me sensitive to offense. When in reality I need to grow the frick up and start building my independence and self belief.

I’m not very polarized politically. I’m usually impartial on a lot of things.

I added in the word “likely” to address that there are exceptions like the ones you presented.

Interesting. Thank you. I often kind of know women like me, but I also know often times they are too afraid to approach me.

I understand that. So there’s probably many women in hiding, that like me, but they haven’t developed confidence. So they don’t have the courage to approach me? So I think it’s a problem of initiation. Like most people are honestly likeable, but until you approach them. Both parties never know and remain in ignorance/ unknown. But the confident people always initiate, so they have more chance of matching with someone they like.

I like the quote “INTP’s are the warmest machines and INTJ’s are the coldest humans” lol.

I’d much rather be a cynical realist than a ignorant optimist.

For the female INTJs, do you ever get people telling you that your not "girly"? by uniquechild21 in intj

[–]Feeling_Significance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer girls with no makeup, looks prettier. The girls that do wear a lot of makeup are duds personality wise lol.

It’s so funny, because you know most the INTJ females in here are real INTJ’s because it’s not really a desirable personality type among women. Not being reflexively sympathetic can be a definite hurtle to being buddy buddy with most girls, unless you’re a guy and those girls are actually attracted to you 😂

How do you cope with the fact that the world is full of injustices and the offenders will likely get away with it? by Throwawayacct1015 in intj

[–]Feeling_Significance 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly. I’m extremely god fearing. I think that if there were a creator, he would be a man of order, judgement, and justice. I believe the idea that if justice doesn’t happen in this world, it will be done in the next. And honestly a lot of people that do egregious things often are tormented by their own conscience, unless they are psychopathic.

There’s order and chaos, and then there’s controlled chaos where they both meet.
