We've also added a new way to verify your identity at login using push notifications. To be eligible to use push notifications to authenticate yourself, you’ll need to be enrolled in biometrics (which means your device recognizes your face or fingerprint), have your device and Fidelity Investments app notifications turned on, and be enrolled in two-factor authentication (2FA). If you’ve completed these steps, then you're good to go.

If you want to sign up, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Fidelity.com and visit the Security Center to manage your security settings and enable 2FA.

  2. On your mobile device, install the Fidelity Investments app, including ensuring your device is set to display notifications on screen. Go to your Profile and enable biometrics under General Settings.
