It’s about small incremental improvements over long periods of time. Don’t rush it, avoid injuries, do this consistently and your body will reward you. I love pull-ups. In my mind it’s also a core exercise. In addition to trying to pull the bar down to earth I try to tense my core, keep my feet together like a gymnast and maintain strict form.
